Do crew and cast need the app?
No. Each person receives a private link and can review, confirm, or decline without an account.
Does CallSheet upload my entire address book?
No. With permission, CallSheet searches Apple Contacts on your device. Only the people you select are added to the sheet. The full address book is never uploaded; Apple’s picker is the fallback if you deny Contacts access.
Can I draft without an account?
Yes, in the iPhone, iPad and Mac apps. Local drafting, editing, the full on-screen preview, and PDF export with its small Made with CallSheet line all work without signing in or buying CallSheet Pro. CallSheet Pro removes the line and adds sending.
What is included with CallSheet Pro?
CallSheet Pro removes the Made with CallSheet line from your PDF and adds private recipient links, email delivery, delivery and response tracking, published-sheet cloud restore, and Wrap Sheet emails.
How does the 7-day free trial work?
Eligible new subscribers can start a 7-day trial on either CallSheet Pro plan now. Can I update a call sheet after sending?
Yes. CallSheet identifies who is affected, selects only those people by default, explains what changed, and tracks their acknowledgement of that revision. Private links stay the same.
When does the crew page change?
Draft edits stay private until publication. Publishing an update changes the shared crew page; you choose who receives a new email. Each person’s response is tracked against the relevant information in the revision. The email contains their private link, where they can download the current PDF and files. A recorded send or open does not prove they read the update.
Can I attach PDFs and production files?
Yes. Add PDF, JPEG and PNG files such as maps, safety plans, sides and NDAs. The limit is 20 files and 4 MB combined, including logos. Crew download the selected files and the current call sheet PDF from their private link; the email has no attachments.
What does Sun Path show?
Sun Path calculates the sun's true-north direction and elevation at the primary shoot address and date, including each timed setup in the run of day. Company moves do not resolve separate solar locations. The native app places it over satellite imagery. The crew link stays interactive, and the PDF includes a north-up diagram.
Does Sun Path predict shade from buildings or trees?
No. Buildings, trees, terrain, windows, and actual shade are not predicted. Sun Path gives production the solar direction and elevation to combine with a scout and the real location.
