What does a spreadsheet do well?

A spreadsheet can hold a flexible schedule, formulas and a crew list. Costs, collaboration and distribution options depend on the spreadsheet product you choose.

Where does a spreadsheet cost you?

A file-only spreadsheet workflow needs separate distribution and revision tracking. CallSheet adds recipient links, recorded opens, explicit responses and an affected-recipient review.

Can I keep my existing crew list?

Yes. Native apps import vCard or CSV files. In the browser, paste CSV or tab-separated rows. Direct .xlsx import is not supported.

Do I lose the freedom to shape the day myself?

The call sheet is structured rather than freeform, which is what makes targeted revisions and relative call times possible. Production notes and special instructions carry anything the structure does not.
