Everything you need to write about CallSheet.
Descriptions at three lengths, the product facts, screenshots and a contact. All of it is free to use and quote without asking. If you need something that is not here, or a Pro account to test the app properly, the address at the bottom reaches a person.
CallSheet: Crew Calls at calltimes.app is the call sheet app for iPhone, iPad, Mac and the browser. It is not Casey Liss's movie-lookup Callsheet, not Callsheet Pro by Early Studios, and not Geared Like A Machine rentals.

Boilerplate
Descriptions, at the lengths people ask for.
Use these descriptions when writing about CallSheet. Each version covers the product at a different length.
- One line
- Build a call sheet from your contacts, email every person a private link to the call sheet and PDF, and see who confirmed. iPhone, iPad, Mac, web.
- Short
- CallSheet is call sheet software for producers, production coordinators and assistant directors. Build the shoot day from contacts you already have, send each person a private link to the sheet and downloadable PDF, and track delivery and confirmations. Crew need no app and no account. Available on iPhone, iPad, Mac and the web.
- Full
- CallSheet is call sheet software for producers, production coordinators and assistant directors working in commercial, film, television and photo production. It runs on iPhone and iPad, on Mac, and in a browser. Use the same account for its published sheets and subscription. In the native apps, cast and crew are added from Apple Contacts or imported from a vCard or CSV, then given call times, a timed run of day, locations, company moves, meals, safety and the rest of the shoot day. Sending emails each selected person a private link to the sheet and downloadable PDF, and the producer sees who opened it and who confirmed. When one call time changes, CallSheet identifies the affected people so the producer can review who receives a new update email. Publishing updates the shared call sheet. Scheduled times carry a solar read for the primary shoot address, true-north bearing and elevation, inside the call sheet and in the crew link. Recipients never install anything.
The facts
What it does, and where the claim stops.
CallSheet was built by Joey Arcisz, a working commercial director, out of problems on their own shoot days. The facts below explain the product and its limits before you use it on a set.
- What it is
- Call sheet software. The producer builds and sends the shoot-day document; cast and crew receive it.
- Who it is for
- Producers, production coordinators, assistant directors and photo producers, on crews of roughly three to fifty people.
- What crew need
- Nothing. Recipients open a private link in the browser already on their phone. No app, no account, no signup.
- Sun path
- True north bearing and elevation at each scheduled time, in the app over satellite imagery and as a north-up diagram in the crew link and the PDF. It does not predict shade from buildings, trees, terrain or windows.
- Offline
- Native drafting works with no account and no network. Browser drafts require sign-in and an internet connection. An account and CallSheet Pro are required for sending, private links, confirmation tracking and cloud restore.
- Subscription
- CallSheet Pro is $7.99 per month or $59.99 per year. Eligible new subscribers may receive a one-week introductory trial. The App Store shows current pricing and terms for each region.
Coverage
Where CallSheet has appeared in print.
Four pieces, in two kinds, kept apart on purpose. Two were written by the publication and two were written by Joey. Both kinds are worth reading and only one of them is press, so the difference is labelled rather than blurred into a single band.
Independent coverage
Written by the publication. Both are trade-press news items worked up from the release, which makes them coverage and not reviews. The American Society of Cinematographers and British Cinematographer have endorsed nothing, and no copy on this site says they have.
- American Cinematographer
- Geared Like a Machine Releases CallSheet: Crew Calls. ASC Staff, .
- British Cinematographer
- CallSheet brings “change-aware call-sheet publishing” to iPhone and iPad. .
