Revision strategy comparison
Match the size of the message to the size of the change.
A full-crew resend is simple for the sender and expensive for everyone else. Each recipient has to determine whether the change matters. CallSheet moves that review upstream: identify the affected people, let the producer verify them, then send the current revision.

- Full resend
- Everyone rechecks
- Targeted revision

The production decision
Noise makes the next important update easier to miss.
When every adjustment looks like a production-wide alarm, recipients learn that most alerts do not apply to them. Targeted revisions preserve attention by focusing the send review on the people whose information changed.
Working sequence
From plan to current crew handoff.
Make the edit
Change the call sheet at the source.
Inspect impact
Review the recipients CallSheet marks as affected.
Choose the audience
Approve or adjust the selection, then publish the private link and current PDF.
Truth boundary
What CallSheet does, and what stays a production judgment.
Targeting is not automatic communication. CallSheet does not send until the producer reviews and approves the recipient selection.

Questions about Targeted revisions vs. full-crew resends.
What is wrong with resending to everyone?
It can ask unaffected people to recheck the sheet. CallSheet tracks responses against each recipient's relevant revision; a full resend does not by itself prove that earlier responses were invalidated.
How does a targeted revision decide who to include?
CallSheet compares the planned revision with the published call sheet, then starts with affected recipients selected for notification. Publishing changes the shared crew page; the selection determines who receives a new email.
Do I review that before it sends?
Yes. The selection is a starting point you review and adjust, not an automatic send.
When should I send to everyone anyway?
When the change affects the shape of the day rather than one person's information, such as a location change, a weather call, or a schedule the whole unit works from.
