The production decision

Both send a call sheet. They disagree about where the work happens.

SetHero describes a browser call-sheet workflow. Native CallSheet drafts, local crew tools, preview and PDF export work without sign-in or a connection on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Existing CallSheet account holders can also work in the browser, where saving uploads the sheet and crew data before sending.

Start from people you already have
The native searchable picker reads Contacts on device with permission and retains selected people only. It does not upload the whole address book. Browser crew entry uses manual fields or pasted rows.
Send one person a change
CallSheet selects the recipients whose information changed and shows you that list before sending.
Plan the sun
Sun Path gives true-north direction and elevation across the run of day, not just sunrise and sunset.

CallSheet supports per-sheet Editor and Viewer invitations on browser-authored sheets; invited Editors and Viewers cannot send. Pro Duo is separate: two paired producer accounts can both edit and send shared call sheets. Pro Wrap Sheet sends closing and invoice instructions. Native apps can select multiple shoot days; the browser uses the current sheet.

Questions about CallSheet vs. SetHero.

How is CallSheet different from SetHero?

CallSheet offers native local drafting and PDF export on iPhone, iPad and Mac, selected Apple Contacts import, and an affected-recipient review before a revision. SetHero offers browser call sheets with email and text distribution and documents manual republishing choices.

Can I build a call sheet without a connection?

Yes, in the native apps: local drafting, preview and PDF export work offline. Address lookup, new imagery, forecasts, account operations and publishing need a connection. The browser workspace is not an offline editor.

Do both track confirmations?

Crew confirmation is central to both. In CallSheet you see who opened the private link and who confirmed, per recipient.

How many recipients does one send reach?

CallSheet accepts up to 100 selected recipients per send, with service limits also applying. Delivery and response status should be reviewed separately.
