Travel, talent, meals, and location access may all fit while the exterior order works against the sun. The useful moment is before distribution: compare the important times, adjust the run of day, and only then publish the plan.

Questions about Outdoor shoot sun planning.

How do I plan exteriors around real light?

Review true-north sun direction and elevation across the run of day for the production location, then place setups against the direction the light will actually come from.

Does the call sheet carry weather as well?

Yes. Native apps can look up a forecast through Apple Weather, with a US National Weather Service fallback where available. Lookups need a connection and a supported date. Weather in the browser editor is entered manually.

What if the location moves?

A Sun Path belongs to the location and date used to calculate it. After a move, verify the primary address, recalculate the path and review the result before publishing.

Is this a substitute for a scout?

No. It tells you where the sun will be. It does not tell you what is standing in front of it.
