CallSheet

Company-move workflow

Plan the moves and check the primary location's Sun Path.

CallSheet gives company moves their own times and addresses. Its Sun Path uses the primary production location across the run-of-day times; it does not calculate a separate solar plan for each move address.

The production decision

A company move can be operationally possible and photographically late.

Allow time for travel and access, then scout the light at each location. CallSheet records the move schedule and provides a Sun Path for the primary location. Another address needs its own verified solar reference.

What production needs
How CallSheet handles it
Review the primary exterior
Check true-north direction and elevation for the configured production location.
Keep the run of day legible
Carry the solar reference alongside the timed production plan.
Publish across departments
Send private recipient links with no crew app requirement.
Update a moved time
Review the affected recipients before issuing a revision and PDF.

Working sequence

From plan to current crew handoff.

  1. Time the move

Put the move and next setup into the actual run of day.

  2. Check every location

Verify light and access at each move address separately from the primary-location Sun Path.

  3. Publish the current route

Share the private crew link and PDF, then target later changes.

Truth boundary

What CallSheet does, and what stays a production judgment.

CallSheet shows solar geometry for the primary production location, not each company-move address. It does not calculate travel time, traffic, parking, load-in or physical site access.

Questions about Multi-location shoot-day planning.

Can one call sheet carry more than one location?

Yes. Additional locations and company moves are structured, scheduled items with their own addresses.

Does it help with entering addresses?

In the native app, connected Apple Maps lookup suggests addresses for the production location, additional locations and company moves. Check the selected address and access details before publishing.

Can I plan light around the locations?

Sun Path is calculated for the production location, so you can review true-north sun direction and elevation across the run of day.

How do I reorder the day once a move is added?

Drag items into place, move one up or down, sort the whole list by time, or resequence the times.
