Questions about Private crew links vs. group texts.

What does a group text get right?

It can be a familiar way to draw attention to an urgent change. Delivery, notifications and read receipts depend on the messaging service and recipient settings; immediate attention is not guaranteed.

Where does a group text fail?

A thread can contain links and files, but the current plan can become hard to find among messages and replies. Keep the approved document and its revision clear.

Is sending a link slower?

The producer reviews and publishes the update, choosing who receives a new email. Each private link opens the shared published call sheet with that person's call details.

Can I still tell who saw it?

CallSheet records opens and explicit responses on the recipient page. Messaging services may have their own read receipts. Neither an open nor a delivery receipt proves understanding.
